The diverse membership of the Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS (the Coalition) brings focus, broad perspectives and expertise to address gaps in knowledge and service systems in order to improve the lives of children and families in the HIV and AIDS epidemic.
As an independent collaborative, the Coalition can move quickly on ideas, proposing concrete strategies to increase the visibility of, and enhance services to, children in the epidemic, ensuring they receive life-saving support and services.
The Coalition is a small funder-driven collaborative. We are an independent, unincorporated group of public and private funders, re-granting organizations and technical experts from both the global North and South. Our structure provides us with the freedom to set goals and objectives independent from external pressures.
We are supported by a wider network of allies: a broader group of technical experts, civil society groups, government and multilateral representatives. Together, our goal is to improve the lives of young children affected by HIV and AIDS.
